"Right now we are working on a circuit that will tell you your date of birth. Next to it, is a power supply that will power the circuit," Junior Andrew Tarket said.
"Right now, I am putting thread on a piece of equipment using a vise," Junior Bowman Giddy said. A vise is a metal tool with movable jaws that are used to hold an object firmly in place while work is done on it. Giddy and the other students in machine trades use a vise often.
Students in machine trades are working on a project using the machines in their classroom.
"The children play with the corn to enhance their motor skills and creativity," Junior Jaylyne Keller said. Students in childhood development work directly with children to future enhance their learning.
"Today, we learned how to make sport's drinks with cherry, lemon, and mint," Sophomore Kylie Jones said. Students in sports nutrition learn how to make healthy food and drink options.
"I really enjoy this class because we get to make different things all the time and I like trying the food and drinks when we're done," Sophomore Landon Robbins said.
