Students at Columbus North High School have the opportunity to prepare for their Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) by taking the Preliminary Scholastic Aptitude Test (PSAT), which is a practice test for the SAT which is used for college admissions.
For a couple of dollars students can practice for the real test and juniors are eligible for scholarship money.
Students can take the PSAT for $2, the SAT for $45 dollars and the SAT with essay for $57. At CNHS around 200-300 kids take the SAT and the PSAT every year. 110 Students took the PSAT last year.
