Recently, several students from Madame Newlin’s French class created a French club.
“We came up with idea of French Club when Madame [Newlin] suggested that we do something for National French Week,” sophomore Kidist Tewolde said.
Tewolde also explained the purpose of French Club.
“We socialize. We also want to experience French culture….and get help on homework and projects,” Tewolde said. “We study French, and sometimes we watch French videos.”
French Club meets Mondays through Thursdays during period 5A in the French classroom, room 2005.
On describing the process to join the club, Tewolde exclaimed, “If you’re in French classes, you just come over and ask Madame if you can sit here for lunch!”
