The football season came to an end on Friday Oct. 30. The Bull Dogs fell to the Center Grove Trojans with a score of 42-7 during the sectional semifinal game.

“[Center Grove] was just bigger, faster and stronger than us,” junior Luke Hammons said. 

The team was filled with emotions about losing their seniors, and for the end of the season overall. 

“I definitely didn’t want the season to end yet,” Hammons said, “but we had a great season being conference Indiana champs, and [I] had a lot of fun playing with my teammates.”

Hammons is still looking forward to improving and having a great season for the 2021-22 school year. 

“[My ambitions are] to beat East, win conference Indiana, and make it further in the tournament,” Hammons said.
