According to the COVID-19 Community Task Force website, there have been 16 days back to back where 10 people have had positive COVID-19 tests in the county. In total, we have had 272 cases from Aug. 11 to Aug. 26.

Here are recommendations form the task force on what students need to do while in school:

• Students should be masked up all day unless performing a physical activity or while eating or drinking. Students who have health problems may allow them to not be capable of wearing a mask.
• When first entering the building, students must stop and get their temperature checked. If a student tests over 100.4°F they will be sent home.
• Students should always practice social distancing while in the school building.
