Senior Seth Sharpe will host a student and community panel discussion tonight, Jan. 26, about reducing the stigma in the community surrounding mental illness.

“I’ve always wanted to help people, but blood makes me sick, so being a doctor was not an option. But, I have always liked to listen to people. So I combined the two. I got interested into psychology once I took AP Psych with Mrs P., and that is where the idea for the project evolved from,” Sharpe said.

The event will be held at 7 p.m. in Poling Hall, Room 200 at Ivy Tech as a component of Sharpe’s senior project.
