Cross country continues winning streak

COLUMBUS CLASSIC MEET

On Sept. 5 the girls and boys cross country teams competed in the Columbus Classic.

The first race was the girls varsity running with seven runners with the girls placing high in their competition.

The second race of the morning was the boys varsity running with nine runners where the boys finished first.

There was also a race in between the two main matches for the small schools, where North got a break before their reserve races.

Overall, North came out with win at the Columbus Classic meet. 

BROWN COUNTY MEET

On Sept. 12 the boys and girls had a meet at Brown County State Park.

The boys and girls came out with a win for both junior varsity and varsity teams at the meet. 

“The team approached the meet very seriously and we are looking forward to next weekend racing in the conference championship,” sophomore Carter Howell said.

The next meet will be Conference Indiana on Sept. 19 at home.
