Varsity football started their season on Aug. 21 with a win against Gibson Southern, scoring 48-6.
Junior Neal Likens thinks the team is doing well for this year.
“We’re a bit banged up, but we can play through it,” Likens said.
Likens said that the team is working ‘extra hard’ for their rivalry game on Friday night, Aug. 28 against Columbus East. The game can be live-streamed on the BCSC YouTube page.
JUNIOR VARSITY FOOTBALL
Junior varsity football started their season on Aug. 22, winning 34-22 against Gibson Southern.
Junior Max Fauber stated that the ‘first half was tough, but [the team] pulled it together and improved at halftime.’
Fauber says that the hard work at their practices was shown in their performance.
“Nobody will say that we’re perfect,” Fauber said. “Everybody has room for improvement, but we have a good chance of doing really well this year”.
The JV football team will compete at Columbus East this Saturday at noon.
