Let the Season Begin!

On Tuesday, Nov 6 the girls basketball team kicked off their season with a home game against New Albany. Both the JV and Varsity teams won, but they both have room for improvement.

Sophomore Laney Moore, a JV player had some thoughts about the game and how they could improve.

“I think we played pretty good for our first game, it was a slow start but eventually we got into it,” Moore explained. “Some things we could improve on our communication. Our coaches are always telling us to communicate better.”

Moore predicted that the JV girls team would be pretty good this season and they have a chance at winning a lot of their games.

“Some things I’m looking forward to is winning a lot. Our team is really merging together and I think we have a chance at being really good.”
As the season goes on they play nineteen games in total including some pretty good teams. The girls face the rival team, Columbus East High school on Dec 13, Bloomington South on Jan 12, and Roncalli on Jan 24. Come support your lady Bulldogs!
