Gymnastics will face off against Bloomington South at their first home meet on Thursday, Jan. 28. The gymnasts seek to continue their winning streak after a 109.000-96.750 win against New Palestine last week.

Freshman Tova Edwards looks forward to the upcoming meet. She hopes to improve in all areas, including bars and beam. She placed seventh all-around with a 30.925 against New Palestine.

“I would just like to be able to move on and do the next thing,” Edwards said of her personal season goals.

Edwards practices with the team to hone her skills. Compared to club gymnastics, “the practices are a lot more laid-back,” she said. “It’s less strict, but you still get work done.”

Thursday’s meet will take place in Gym 2 at 7 p.m.
