Women’s Basketball Senior Night
January 22, 2016
The seniors of the Columbus North Women’s basketball team will play their last home game against Roncalli High School Jan. 28 at 7:30 p.m. With a record of 19-1 this season, the women’s basketball team hopes to end with a last home game win. Senior Amy Weisner predicts how the game will go, considering it’s senior night.
“Roncalli is a really good team and it’s going to be fun playing against them. It’s going to be a good game,” Weisner said. “Usually on senior night, (Coach) Pat McKee starts the seniors; all four seniors will start, and they usually end the game too.”
For the seniors, while playing against their opponents on their home court for the last time, their goal still will not change. However, there will be special memories made on the court by all the seniors.
“I’m looking forward to my last home game with my friends,” Weisner said.
