The National Weather Service has extended its flood warning for Bartholomew County until noon on Tuesday. Travel in Columbus remains difficult, as flooding and high waters have left many important roadways closed. As of Monday afternoon, Jonathan Moore Pike, IN-46, State Road 11, and the entrance/exit ramps to I-65 remain closed. In addition to this, the Flatrock River has risen high enough to completely flood Mill Race Park and is only a few feet below the Robert N. Stewart Bridge. Bartholomew Consolidated School Corporation issued an E-Learning day for Monday, April 7th, and it remains to be seen if schools will be open on Tuesday, April 8th.
