Q: How do you prepare students for finals?
A: I do the best I can to make sure that my students understand the material the first time we cover it. But specifically for finals, we add our grammar information to what we refer to as the ‘verb bible’ which is something students can use on their exams.
Q: How do you grade your finals?
A: I grade on a total points system. There are two parts to the third year exam; a reading part and a written part. None of it will be taken on the computer.
Q: How long are your finals?
A: My final exams are around 100 questions in total. Since it is a cumulative exam, there are many different sections depending on the material we cover each semester.
Q: How do you help your students study?
A: I try to offer multiple ways to study from fill in the blank practice, games on the computer, working in small groups or individually, creating flashcards, etc. I encourage my students to pick how they study most effectively.
Q: What advice would you give to your students to help prepare them for their finals?
A: The longer one waits to prepare themselves, the more stressful it becomes. I would also suggest that they study in a place that is free from distractions (cell phone, video games, TV, etc.). Break up your studying into manageable chunks of time. Get enough sleep the night before and eat a good breakfast so you can be focused while taking a test.

Q:How do you prepare for your finals?
A:If we get a paper I do those or I just study and make flashcards or something like that.
Q: How much time do you spend studying for your finals?
A: I have two resources, so both of those resources I spend studying.
Q: How have your teachers helped you prepare for your finals?
A: My teachers have helped me by reviewing all the things that are going to be on the test. They also will help me with any questions that I have, or if I don’t understand something, they help me with it.
Q: What advice would you give to someone taking their first final?
A: Some advice is to not stress about it too much, because if you stress too much you might overthink stuff.
