The Math department has acquired a new type of smart board after a long stint with the old ones. These new boards have much more to offer than the previous ones, given their sleeker look and modern design. This new smart board is a product from ViewSonic that is a flat panel and displays interactive touch capabilities and content sharing, these displays enhance presentations, brainstorming sessions, and decision-making processes. The Viewbaord by ViewSonic provides an educational environment with the myViewBoard Suite, which builds a purposeful way to connect, engage, and inspire through lots of apps, it encourages educators and professors to teach and learn their own way. The best way to teach on the Viewbard would be the new teaching experience called the Whiteboard, the whiteboard is the centerpiece of the classroom that allows students to learn through connecting with each other and provides real-time solutions that go by how the teacher likes it. This new smart board is a total game-changer for students and teachers because it opens up a new way to learn from a different perspective through the student’s eyes. Since the outside world is advancing every single day taking a step into the future it only makes sense that the classroom follows that same idea and becomes a new type of learning experience that students and teachers have been looking for and the Viewboard does just that. The Viewboard can also connect to mobile devices to display, log, control presentations, share content, and more from laptops, tablets, and mobile phones. The sensor connected to the board can scan an entire classroom from the front row toward the back of the classroom, and then the built-in artificial intelligence captures the facial expressions of the students to remember them for future activities that the teacher might want to do in the classroom. I like the new smart boards so far, I think it provides a clearer screen that’s easy to see and easy to interact with. The screen makes the classroom pop and gives it a better and more creative look that introduces the students to a colorful presentation after being turned on rather than a plain look that requires all sorts of parts. The Viewboard looks like it can open the door to new opportunities for teachers and students in the classroom I like this new add-on.
