Students in C4 classes are starting the year off with project learning that helps them to gain technical and career skills.

The business classes are starting to learn about city ordinances.

“It’s sort of slow but there’s some interesting stuff in there,” senior Trae Haley said.

Haley, who is also a student in Welding, said that students are beginning to get hands-on experience with welding.

“Right now we’re learning how to use a stick welder, we have to completely fill a six by six plate with beads in different patterns, it’s nice being able to learn something completely new in school,” Haley said.

Sophomore Jayden Hardwick said, “Right now we’re stick welding but I prefer MIG welding.”
