The Suspense in A Quiet Place is on a whole other level. I’m sure you’ve all seen the memes about how no one talks in the first fourteen minutes of the movie well I see the purpose of that, it’s adding suspense. You get sort of an awkward feeling sitting there in silent movie theater full of people but it’s leading up to something that has a huge impact of the rest of the movie. It’s very well thought out and really liked how it wasn’t super loud and gory like most horror movies nowadays. While I was sitting there I was just trying to imagine myself in a world like this and wondering if I could survive. The one negative side to this movie is you can’t picture how it’s going to end and the ending itself could’ve been better. It begins and ends in suspense.
