On Nov. 11, the women’s JV and varsity basketball are traveling to Martinsville for a competitive match.
“We had tryouts for four days and then we got placed on our team,” sophomore Brooke Rice said. “I was placed on the C team.”
The C team has practice at 5:30 a.m. every day except 9:00 a.m. on Saturdays.
“We get along alright, but we have our differences like every team,” Rice said. “We also have many cliques.”
The game at 7:30 p.m. on Friday in Martinsville.
“We will do well because we put in a lot of effort and time on our skills every day in practice,” Rice said.
