Black Friday is the day after Thanksgiving and it is one day everybody is familiar with. Black Friday shoppers are known for getting up ridiculously early to find good deals and to get a head start on their Christmas shopping. The term “Black Friday” was devised in the 1960s to kickoff the Christmas shopping season.

“My family and I get up around 5 a.m. and shop. I like it but once I get home I’m exhausted,” sophomore Megan Furber said.

This year Walmart, Macy’s and Target is opening at 6 p.m. Thanksgiving night for Black Friday, and online deals will start at midnight.

Macy’s, Walmart, Kohl’s, and many other retailers have printable coupons online.
