Adele’s new single “Hello” was released Friday, October 23, and the music video set a new record for Vevo, racking up 27.7 million views in the first 24 hours.  It knocked Taylor Swift’s music video “Bad Blood” which had 20.1 million views out of the top spot. It is no wonder she is worth 55 million dollars, but does everybody really like the new song?

“I think that it was really good. I am addicted,” sophomore Sidney Roese said.

The singer said the song is about hurting someone’s feelings but it’s also about trying to stay in touch with yourself.

“After three years since her last song, I definitely feel like it could’ve been improved, but overall her voice is killer,” Roese said.

Even though the song has been released for about one week, some people have not heard it yet.

“I have not heard the song yet. It doesn’t interest me,” sophomore Matt Newland said.

Adele’s upcoming album “25” is set to to come out on Nov. 20.
