Students in the journalism program are working towards a common goal: to feature the students of Columbus North High School. Whether it’s a senior athlete, a student who wants to be a chef, or a student who designs her own clothes; the staffs cover them all!
Journalism is not dead. In fact, more North High School students than ever are enrolled in a variety of student media classes, taught by two licensed journalism teachers. Two hundred fifty-one students are studying multimedia, journalism 1 and photojournalism or are serving on one of five student media staffs: The Triangle newsmagazine, Log yearbook, Bull Dog News Network, immersive media and cnhsmedia.com. All this places Columbus North Student Media as a national leader in high school journalism.
