VARSITY

The Bull Dogs traveled to Terre Haute South on Oct. 16, where they continued their winning streak with a score of 42-21.

“Our first quarter was pretty slow,” senior Nolan Miller said. “But after getting 28 points in the second quarter, it was smooth sailing.”

In preparation for sectionals, the team is improving and becoming more focused.

“We need to focus on what we do and make ourselves better instead of the other team,” Miller said. “The team is feeling very confident. We’re going to do everything we can to prepare for [Center Grove].”

Next, Center Grove will come to North to face off in the first round of sectionals on Oct. 30 at 7 p.m.

JUNIOR VARSITY

For the last game of the junior varsity season, Terre Haute South came to North, where North won with a score of 48-0.

For the Bull Dog victory, junior Bryant Trinkle said “it was a combination of them not playing their best and us playing our best.”

“It’s had to complain about anything when we won by 48,” Trinkle said. “But we definitely could have capitalized more on some scoring opportunities.”

As the season ended for the junior varsity Bull Dogs, they continued to practice and worked in preparation for the next season.
