January 9, 2018, young cheerleaders preformed in the Memorial Gym at halftime of the North vs. Franklin Community High School varsity basketball game. Their Coach was Sierra Drysdale.

For her senior project, Drysdale conducted a 4 day cheer clinic. During this cheer clinic she taught preschool through middle school aged girls. The routine involved a jump and  tumbling routine, a dance, with stunts, and a floor cheer. Over the 4 days, the girls learned basic cheer skills and a basic routine to music. Drysdale’s cheer clinic helped benefit the humane society.

“Every participate of my cheer clinic had to bring in a let donation that the humane society needed.” Drysdale said. She chose to host a cheer clinic for her senior project because she has a very strong love for cheerleading and aspires to be a coach. She also got her dog from the humane society. She said she is a lover of  animals so the humane society as a special place in her heart.
