Sports nutrition and preparing for college and careers teacher, Amanda Godwin, did a miniature project with her third period PCC class to teach them more about communication. Inside this project, students got in groups of four to five, maybe more, and created a human robot.

“The students that were the human robots had to learn a new communication skill or lesson to help get them out of the maze set up for them without being able to see,” C4 teacher Godwin said.

Along with having fun during this lesson, students also learned valuable lessons such as problem-solving and communication.

“[My students] were to talk about communication and learn how to better work with each other,” Godwin said.

During the past week, Mrs. Godwin created a scene for students to learn on their own just as you would during life. After creating their robots and completing their maze, she hopes her students have a better understanding of communication.
