Girls Golf is State Bound

Columbus North Girls Varsity Golf team is preparing to head to State this upcoming weekend. The team has done very well this season according to Sophmore,Annie Anderson.

“I think we will do really well actually. The team has a lot of depth and a lot of talent this year, so I am very excited to see how it plays out.” Anderson said.

The varsity team, who will be playing at state, includes Freshmen Nathaly Munnicha, Sophomore Annie Anderson, Junior Alexandria Munnicha, and Seniors Molly Donnell, Danbi Kim, and Julia Luken.  They haven’t lost a match yet this season, and hope to keep it that way. State is scheduled to start on Friday, September 29th, at 8:30 AM, at Prairie View Golf Course, Carmel. They will also play on Saturday, September 30th, at 8:30 AM . This year is a little different than past years for the Bulldogs though. Usually the top five varsity players play at state but this year fifth and sixth were a tie. The player in the 6th ranking spot, Annie Anderson, will be playing the 18 holes on Friday and the fifth ranking player will be playing the 18 holes on Saturday. Come and support your Bulldog girls golf team this weekend at State!
