On Feb.10 and 11, the Lady Bull Frogs headed to state which was located at the IUPUI Natatorium in Indy. Four members, including senior Darby Coles, senior Alexandria Nusawardhana, freshman Olivia Morlok and freshman Betsy King attended State. King has been competitively swimming since age seven which has prepared her for high school swimming.
“We didn’t win in anything and we didn’t break any records,” King said.
Despite not winning in any of the events, King said it was a wonderful experience.
“It was an amazing privilege to go to state as a freshman,” she said.
Just being at state was a good experience for King and to know what it looks like to compete in a state event.
“My goals for senior year is to go to state in individual events and to make it into the top eight at state,” she said.
