Whether it is the football team, the swim team, in the morning, or after school, the weight room is a common room used for athletes and gym classes. The weight room is used year round by weight class and many other teams. The class helps students improve mentally and physically.
“I took weights so that I could get stronger and faster,” junior Jack Robertson said.
While taking the class, Robertson started noticing the difference in his strength and quickness.
“Weights had helped me get stronger and faster because I needed to in order to have a better advantage in soccer,” Robertson said.
While many students like to sit in class, others prefer a class that allows them to move around and improve their physical fitness.
“What I like about weights is that I have a period of the day where I can do physical activity and not sit in a class,” he said. “It gives me some time to enjoy a little more space and work physical self, not my mental.”
Robertson shares how weights has helped him improve.
“I have improved mentally and physically since taking weights, and recommend that students take weights.”
